When you start using Proximate, you may be prompted to enable certain permissions in macOS for it to function correctly. Here's how to add those permissions:
1. Click the button that says "Fix" for one of the permissions. A pop-up may appear stating that Proximate is requesting to use the permission you selected. Click Open System Settings to continue.
2. You will be brought to > System Settings > Privacy & Security for your selected permission. If you see Proximate in the list of applications, ensure its switch is set to "On."
If you do not see Proximate in the list (like in the screenshot below), you'll need to add it. Click on the "+" icon found at the bottom of the list to locate Proximate.app on your computer.

3. You may be prompted to confirm this change with TouchID or by entering the password you use to log in to macOS. Follow the prompts to continue.
4. MacOS may require you to quit and restart Proximate to complete this process. If it happens, follow the on-screen prompts to restart the app.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 until permissions have been granted to Proximate for all required permissions.
