Selecting apps to watch with Proximate

Proximate only monitors notifications from applications that you select. To start or stop Proximate monitoring an application, follow the steps below:

1. Click the Proximate icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen
   
   
2. Click on Settings....
   
   
3. At the top of the Settings window, click on the the Apps tab.
   
   On the left side of the screen are all apps on your computer. On the right side of the screen is a list of all apps being monitored by Proximate. 
   
   
4. To monitor an app, find it on your list of all apps and select the checkbox to the left of the app's icon. You'll also see the app appear in your list of monitored apps. 
   
   
5. To stop monitoring an app, first hover over it in the Monitored Apps list, then click the "X" icon on the right side of the row.
